Beyond the Line Final Exhibition

Come celebrate Juneteenth with our residency artist, Rose Sanchez as she unveils her short film Roots during her final exhibition and film premiere.

Roots: A struggling artist on the edge of eviction inherits a home she doesn’t want—until strange occurrences and neighborhood tension begin to reveal why it was meant for her all along.

This film was created to honor the emotional complexities of Black homeownership, legacy, and self-worth. It invites viewers to reflect on what we carry, what we release, and what we reclaim.
