Kinusaiga: No-Sew Quilt Art

Kinusaiga: No-Sew Quilt Art

Discover the art of Kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese textile technique that transforms fabric scraps into intricate works of art—without sewing. No experience required. All materials provided.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to repurpose fabric remnants and give them a new life through a simple no-sew quilting technique. Together, we'll explore how discarded and leftover textiles can become something beautiful, functional, and meaningful rather than ending up in the waste stream.

Beyond the craft itself, Kinusaiga offers an opportunity to reflect on reuse, resourcefulness, and the value of what we already have. As we create alongside one another, we'll explore how small acts of repurposing can contribute to a more sustainable and connected community.

Come create, connect, and reimagine what is possible when we choose to reuse instead of replace.
